As a Gynaecological cancer survivor I am in awe of this wonderful art created at Melville Council – Iris Whitlock Art of Life Coaching 2019 after I presented about my GYN cancer experience. Indigenous Art Activity Collective Canvas by Gracie Comeagain. Great to see other councils supporting also. https://www.kathmazzella.com/2019/09/international-gynaecological-awareness-day-celebration-progress/
Great to see you support this event and learn more about the Vulva. Viva La Vulva.
Knowledge is Power.
What an opportunity to share my 25 years of lobbying for community Gynaecological health awareness. Cant say I wasn’t nervous to present to 1,000 women at this Soroptimist International convention however I cannot thank Robyn Cain and the President of Soroptimist International Anusha Santhirasthipam for believing in my work. This then led to an Undies for Better Understanding cardboard cut out undies workshop Dare to be Gynae Aware to South West Pacific Soroptimist Clubs to encourage them to start the conversations.
A huge shout out to the organisers and Medical professionals to bring launch this day. As a survivor of a radical vulvectomy 25 years ago I am more than elated about this. I simply don’t want 1 more women to have to endure this without have the knowledge to protect themselves. www.issvd.org/event/vulvar-cancer-awareness-day LET’S KEEP THIS THING MOVING
