Gynaecological Awareness Flash Mob photo event

https://www.facebook.com/events/417483699078395/

Flash your undies! ~ A metaphorical flash mob for a photo shoot to raise awareness for the Gynaecological Health Awareness campaign. We’ll be meeting at the giant sculpture at Elizabeth Quay at 2pm.
(and no, you don’t have to actually flash your undies!!)

Kath Mazzella OAM, advocate for GYNae health, is asking for your help to create some excitement and support for GLAM Day – Gynaecological Leadership and Awareness Movement – on 10 September.
So many women suffer from difficult GYNae issues and we want to lift the skirts on the secrecy.  From fibroids to endometriosis to polycystic ovarian syndrome to infertility.
If we don’t talk about it then we can’t start to fix it.
We’d love as many people there as possible so please invite all your friends.
Please dress in red, white and/or black.

Even if you can’t make the event we’d love you to click “interested” in the event.

Auspire Sundowner 25 March 2019

It was a fantastic Auspire event last night.  The team did an amazing job. Wish to thank them for their support in the past to help me progress with my Gynaecological awareness campaign.  It was great to see and hear Alan Joyce presenting and sharing some of his personal life story.

Gynaecological awareness. It was a great opportunity to have an article in Rural Remote Regional Women Western Australia magazine Spring 2018 edition to help share the message with country women.

International Gynaecological Awareness Day Progress

After our meeting on 12th July 2018 with the President of the Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology and the Vice-President of Global Health to discuss their support of the International Gynaecological Awareness Day (IGAD) campaign.  I am more than elated to say they have agreed to celebrate IGAD.

A short history: Jeanette Preston (UK Founder of Pants Cancers) and myself as cancer survivors visited the college in 2008 to seek support for IGAD which was the planted seed to see this day come to fruition.  So I encourage others to join in the campaign to help share greater education and acceptance as said by the President that Gynaecological Health should not be TABOO.  Thanking all those who have supported in the past.

Progressive Women Esperance – Dare to be Gynae Aware

A good time was had by all with my presentation at the Progressive Women Esperance. I just love the responses and stories shared with one and other. https://www.esperanceexpress.com.au/story/5432689/womens-health-promoted-in-esperance/?cs=1520.

I distributed undies to many of the Community Resource Centres along the 800km trip.
